Electronics Recycling Program

Barber Middle School PTSA is happy to announce a new Electronics Recycling Program here at school. This program will earn money for our school, while keeping dangerous and valuable e-waste from improper disposal in landfills.

The drop box will be placed in the Media Center on April 20th, 2011 in recognition of Earth Day, but the program will continue indefinitely.

There will be a sticker you can fill out and attach to your donation in order to be entered in our drawings for *eco-friendly* prizes.

Devices can contain their old batteries but please do not send in cords or chargers. Cords and chargers CAN be dropped off in the entryway of our local Best Buy. Please do not donate items that are not on the list below.

We can accept the following items:
  • Cell Phones
  • Broken Jewelry (gold, silver, and platinum)
  • Ink Jet Printer Cartridges
  • Laptops & Netbooks
  • MP3 Players
  • Digital Cameras
  • Digital Video Cameras
  • GPS Devices
  • Radar Detectors
  • Kindle & Sony Book Readers
